Don't it make you feel like dancin'

Poor baby.....

Phoenix got a cold on Wednesday morning and by that night it had developed into croup. We ended up at the hospital after he woke up with a temperature over 100 and was barely able to catch his breath. Pretty scary! We got a great dr. that explained that croup is just like a cold with a sore throat for an adult but for a little guy it closes off their airways. Phoenix ended up getting some steroids by ventilator and a shot of them orally. I guess now he'll turn out to be a huge muscle head! Anyway he is no worse for wear today and seems like his cold is getting better. He is even rolling over both ways so it can't be too bad.

Turduckin!

We celebrated Easter on Friday with Turduckin! It's a chicken stuffed inside a duck then stuffed inside a turkey all stuffed with 3 kinds of stuffing! It is gluttony at it's finest. We had Tarren's sister and neice's here from Kelowna and lots of local friends and family to enjoy the feast.

4 month Check up

Mr. Phoenix is doing wonderful! Again I am loving this age- even more so than last month. He is in the 50% range for his height and weight so he is totally average! He handled his shots like a champ and only cried with the last one (Hepatitis)- I've had that shot and it hurt me! Anyway he is as cute as ever. Here are some pictures from when I had him posing for me.
